Hello artists and fellow procrastinators! This is Rachel Kleinman joining you today, and I am a master procrastinator whether I like it or not (and I know I'm not alone!). I'm sharing two fast and last minute holiday cards using the Gelatos® of the Week, Iced Currant.
The stag head card focuses on stamping with Gelatos®, which was one of the first techniques I ever used with Gelatos® years ago. The background was created by coloring Lime Gelatos® on a stamp, misting it with water to activate the pigment, then pressing my watercolor paper directly on top of the stamp. Then I also added Texture Luxe™ Gold over the Mixed Media Stencil 101 diamond pattern. The Stag itself was stamped with Ice Currant Gelatos®, but then I added a lot of shading with my Stamper's Big Brush Pens (watch this part in the video!)

My next card is very simple and really packs a punch! I covered the card panel with Iced Current Gelatos® mixed with Glaze medium, then used a 102 Collection stencil with Texture Luxe™ Pearl to create candy cane stripes.
The letters to spell Joyeux Noel were made with the alphabet stencil from the Stencil 301 collection and Metallic Mint Gelatos®. I fussy cut the letters and adhered them over silver ribbon using Gel Medium. Easy easy!
