Cool Lettering Technique with Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens

How To Create Novelty Monthly Trackers

Sick of me yet? Faber-Castell USA and I are back for our third and final post!

This last post is my favorite, because I love a good habit tracker and I LOVE doodles!

A long time ago I created a page of fun novelty monthly habit trackers and today, I wanted to bring you 3 tutorials on how to create your own! Novelty trackers are so fun because they almost make you WANT to fill everything in so your doodle will look “complete” - this helps you stay accountable and can push you toward your monthly goal!

The Monthly Reading Tracker
-Follow these 3 steps to create your very own mini bookshelf!
-Fill in a book for every day that you read (you can change the number of books to however many days are in the month you are tracking)
-Fun Tip: Add a door, sub out the books for food, and you have a healthy eating tracker that looks like a refrigerator!

2. No Sweets Tracker
-Follow these 3 steps to create a cute ice cream cone with sprinkles!
-Fill in a sprinkle for every day that you avoid sweets/sugar/junk food (you can change the number of sprinkles to however many days are in the month you are tracking)
-Fun Tip: Change out the cone and add a wrapper, and you have a cute cupcake, instead!

3. Blogging/Writing Tracker
-Follow these 3 steps to create a tiny typewriter!
-Fill in a typewriter key for every day that you write/blog (you can change the number of keys to however many days are in the month you are tracking - for example, this typewriter has 31 keys - for 30, just remove the space bar!)
Fun Tip: Write what you are tracking on the piece of paper in the typewriter for a cute little header!

Creating a novelty tracker for your habits can be easier than it seems - just think of an icon that applies to the habit you want to track, and find a way to add 30-31 details to fill in!
