How to Make Faux Washi Tape for Bujo

Happy Tuesday, all you lovely people! I've teamed up with @fabercastellusa once again to bring you another bujo how-to!

No washi tape? No problem!

Using these simple tips and ideas, you can create the look of washi, without using any!

First, make 2 even parallel lines. Then, attach said lines at each end using a "zig-zag" line to create the look of ripped tape! To make your faux-washi pop, color it in, add a pattern, or even add a shadow to create a dimensional look!

I've given you 12 pattern examples to try - you can go as simple as you want, or get crazy with it! Hey, that's the beauty of bujo, right? Customize it - YOUR way!

I've also shown you how to apply your faux washi to your journal... by creating boxes that appear to be taped on, you add a lot of interest to your pages without the extra supplies.
