I LOVE Helmar adhesives! I was so excited to be able to create with these products so I made a fun little banner using Donna Downey's Canvas ATCs from Prima. I started by added some background color with the Design Memory Craft Gelato colors: Mango, Tangerine, Lemon, Bubble Gum, Blueberry, Lime, Licorice, Green Tea, and Metallic Blueberry. These became the base of all the pieces.
I love this cute Summer Banner I made for the Helmar featured post!
I picked leaves and grasses from around my yard...arranged them on the Donnna Downey Canvases from Prima...made a spray mist with water and Design Memory Craft Gelato colors / green tea, pistachio & lemon, arranged the leaves and grasses on the canvas pieces then misted them to create a negative image on the canvas!

We had the pleasure of meeting Vicki and Jenny (Craft Test Dummies) at the summer CHA in Chicago. To say that we were wowed by their vibrant personalities is an understatement. Today's craft from Vicki is something we LOVE- it's always nice to remember that a little DIY can make someone's day.
Summertime. The time for vacation, reunions and other travel. If you are traveling this summer it may be that someone has played host and offered you a place to stay during your travels. The photo above was taken at the Summer CHA show last week where Jenny from Craft Test Dummies hosted her writers for the show.
While it's always a good idea to take a gift along with you as a "Thank You" it's also extra nice if you can send a note (hand written, please) letting your host know just how much you appreciated their hospitality.
Design Memory Craft Brand Ambassador, Sharon, The Night Owl Scrapper has posted a few cute projects using Design Memory Craft products.

Hi all! Brittny Kvilhaug here. Here is my second project for the Faber-Castell Design Memory Works guest design team. There is nothing like looking back through my journals from years past and so I decided that for my next one I’d definitely need an extra special one. So here is my Happy Day notebook!
Cathy Andronicou's second blog post. Enjoy!
Yesterday I was stood at a coffee machine waiting for my drink to be dispensed and my eyes settled on a jar full of coffee stirrers......my mind began to wander and before I knew it I was fanning several out on the counter and so the idea of creating a paper fan was born!
I think this would be a great project to do over the summer with the children, they could have great fun colouring in and decorating their own fan.
Here it is open:
And here it is closed.
To make a fan you need some basic supplies; a sheet of white tissue paper, 12 coffee stirrers (many coffee shops have these - make sure you wash them if they have been used), PVA glue, a cocktail stick and two beads.
This fan also used the following items to decorate it;
Up next is Cheryl Boglioli! Here's why it's a fantastic idea to let your imagination run loose.
And this is what I made with my “play time” last week. Hello, my name is Cheryl Boglioli and I am so honored and thrilled to be a Guest Designer this summer with Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft®. This week I took some time to just play with many of the different Faber-Castell products. I made mistakes along the way, but I learned from them and I had a lot of fun experimenting and just playing. Isn’t that what this art journey is supposed to be about too?
My inspiration piece was a new brush travel tote I just received and some Wendy Vecchi Stamps. I knew these would work so well together. I know myself well enough to know that I will spill paint, drop a stamp, lay a wet stencil upside down, or any of these things when I am working. I know my brush tote will end up looking a wreck sooner or later, so I decided to give it a head start.
Hi everyone! Today, we'd like to introduce Cathy Andronicou. We love the way she used the pastels here- it almost makes us want to drop by the flower shop on the way home:)
I thought I would share a video with you to show how really easy they are to use:
