Aged Recipe Index Cards

Swapping recipes is something I really enjoy as well as learning about their origins. They all have a great story behind! Is it all fashioned these days to keep them in a recipe box? Well, I do have one in my kitchen...

Swapping recipes often happens at family or friends gatherings. Everyone wants to know how the food served was made. Some guests might even take some hand written notes.

How about sending them home with a unique keepsake from your gathering? You can have some recipe index cards ready for them to fill up or design a recipe card index bundle illustrating the menu.

" Reflection "- Gelatos on Canvas

Hello everyone, Swarup here with a canvas that's worth framing!.......

........and all it took me to create this beauty were some Gelatos® and Stamper's Big Brush Pens.

Last week we had some totally unseasonal warmth and of course instead of snow we had some really heavy downpour.  This painting is a reflection of that beautiful winter evening . As I was driving through this rain , I noticed these beautiful colors being reflected in a puddle by the traffic signal, perhaps of the lights, colors of the cars and the sky, all blended together so well that it called for a beautiful painting!

..and what better way to depict water than by using water soluble Gelatos!

Here is step by step tutorial , so you can create one yourself..........

Tag Tutorial with Irit

Hello, my dear crafty friends! Irit is here again and this time I decided to make my "Same, but different" crafty project.

Lot of times we see a tutorial from one of the most popular artists over the web that is great and inspirational, but we don't feel like those "copy and paste" kind of crafters, so we just pass. I saw this tag tutorial online,  and I felt that as much as I like this tag, I hate to be a " duplicating monkey" and if I would make it, it should be done in my own and totally different way. So I made a design, even with similar shapes, but not a single product the designer used was used making this project. All I used were some stamps from Visible Image company I design for and all possible Faber Castell Design Memory Craft products.

So here we go!
