Paper Weave Card

Create a fun paper weave with old book paper and Gelatos® Colors!

Have you tried incorporating a paper weave on your creative projects? It’s a great way to use up paper scraps and add that special touch to your project.

I started with some old paper which I gessoed and colored with Gelatos® Colors (Pistachio, Lime, Spearmint), then cut into strips.

Start weaving the strips, closing the gaps to keep the weave tight. Glue the completed weft down on a scrap paper and cut to size. Add Golden glass bead medium for a sparkle.

Add paper doiley and patterned papers.

Color sentiment stamp with Artist Big Brush Pen (leaf green) and stamp sentiment.
