Highlighting Art Grip Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils
Watercolor effect with Gelatos

Mixed Media Journal Page

Hello Everyone!! Isha here sharing with you my last post. I still can't believe that my term is over. It just seems like yesterday I got an email from Naoko :) I am honored to know more about Design Memory Craft, their products, which of coarse are amazing. I met wonderful people here too :)

It was a great journey and with every post I tried and learned something new!

Today, I made my very first Journal page and I feel this Quote by Unity is just PERFECT!

Here is how my project looks:

Here is how I created it:

I applied some washi tape to the center and glued some strips of paper for texture. You wont be able to see the design by the end except for the texture.

I then applied Gesso all over it. Let it dry!

Now come some Gelatos® , which I simply applied and  blended using a wet brush.

Now, I took the stencil and applied some Gelatos® and blended it using a bit of gesso.

For my flowers, I simply cut the triangle out of sticky back canvas and stamped it using the Stamper's Big Brush Pen.

Then I applied some Aquarelle Pencils on the triangles and blended them using water. Since the Stamper's Big Brush pen have India ink, they are permanent once dry.

I doodled the stem and leaves using a Green marker and glued the flowers using Gel medium.

Once dry, I doodled around the flowers and applied some Gelatos®  for more brightness. Next, I drew a few clouds using the Stamper's Big Brush Pen and water.

To finish, I stamped some newspaper background and the painted circle.

Here is my project once more.
