"Chair"ished Friend Mixed Media Tag

I am amazed at the change that can be made when using Faber Castell Design Memory Craft products on a plain manilla tag!  It's hard to believe that's how this tag started isn't it?  Read on to see how I transformed it.  I'm excited to share the changes!

First, I stamped and cut out a chair.  I used several Gelatos and PITT Artist Big Brush Pens mixed with water to make the chair resemble a real patchwork chair that I saw in my local craft store.

I told you it started out plain!  Here, I was trying to determine what to do with the tag next.  I stamped a sentiment onto a small piece of paper but the tag needed more changes.

I covered a chicken wire background stamp with a Cobalt Green Big Brush pen and pressed the tag onto it.  I also used the pen to color the string at the top of the tag.

After I stamped the tag, I drew directly onto it using a variety of Gelato colors.  I used a wet paintbrush to help me spread the colors of the Gelatos.  So pretty!

I colored directly onto a wooden heart and arrow using the Big Brush pens.  I adhered the colored wooden pieces to the tag using Glaze.

I added some ribbon and sequins to the tag for added texture and visual interest.

Making that tag was super fun!  I hope you'll get your Faber Castell Design Memory Craft supplies out and make one too!
