Winter card DREAM from Olga for your inspiration

Olga Kovalchuk winter card DREAM

Hello everyone! :) Today here with you Olga Kovalchuk and I'm very happy and very exited to share with you my first project, which I made for the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft as a guest designer. My dream came true and now you all can see what I made for your inspiration :)

And some close ups.

I have a step by step tutorial for you and I hope you will like it and it will inspire you for your new amazing winter creations!

First of all I  stitch watercolor paper around the perimeter.

For the next step I used gesso. I'm in love with this gesso and it works so good!

I decided to use it may be in unsual way, but I love the result very much! :) I took the vintage book pages and used some pieces of it. At this photo you can see how they look like. I just put them on my paper to be sure that it will look good :)

Then I used some gesso again to put this pieces on the paper. I covered the other side of the vintage pieces and put it on their places.

Here you can see the result :) I decided to mash these little pieces of paper to give them a more aged appearance.

Then I covered it again with the gesso.

At this step you can see that I decided to use some white fabric and make the same thing like with the vintage pieces.

And here you can see the result of it :) I wanted it looked like a snowy hills, it was a part of my idea.

Then I used GELATOES ( Design Memory Craft Gelatos®). I never worked with them and it was so interesting for me to see how they can be used. I really enjoyed using them!

For this step I used Gelatos® Double Scoop® Color - Snow Cone (#770257).

And then I added a little water.

The next step I used Gelatos® Double Scoop® Color - Black Licorice (#770262)

Then I decided to mix Whipped Spackle and Gesso. I just took a little to make some small accents on the paper. I had the effect of the snowy texture and I like how it came out.

Did you ever use the Glass Bead Glitter Gel with the stencil? I had such I idea and I love very much the result! :)

Then, using some gesso I made a small splashes like snow and took a little on the chipboard.

Then I put it on the base. For this step you can use Gel Medium.

I wated to make some accents with the Artist pen from the PITT Artist Pens Writing Set: GREEN/BLUE (#770077). I used Phthalo blue 110***.

The next step I wated to use another piece of fabric. It will complete the whole composition of my card.

It's my winter dream, so I wanted to use this word and take the stamp with word DREAM. I covered the stamp with Stamper's Big Brush Pen LIGHT BLUE (#770007) and stamped on teh watercolor paper. And then I used another Artist pen from the PITT Artist Pens Writing Set: GREEN/BLUE (#770077) Indanthrene blue 247***. I used it to make my stamed word DREAM more visible. And then I cut it from the paper to use in my card :)

Here you can see some pretty decor for the card :) I love to crochet and you can see my small crochet snowflake :)

The next step I used Gel Medium to put all elements at their places.

And at the end of my work I used again some gesso for the pretty snowy accents at all elements of the card. Oh, yes, I love to use gesso! :) Thank you very much for your visit and I hope you will be inspired for the new creations! I wish you all a very good creative day! Big hugs :)
