Hi there! It's the last day of May and I have mixed feelings about this is my youngest son's high school graduation. Where did the time go? Sniff! Sniff! I created a scrapbook page for him using a couple of stencils from two sets - Stencils 10ct 101 Collection and Stencil 10ct 201 Collection.

Let's start with making the background, I adhered 12 x 4½" patterned paper on top of the 12 x 12" white patterned paper with my E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips.

For my accent, I spread Whipped Spackle on to the Banner stencil from the Stencils 10ct 201 Collection. Then I used the Texture Card #8 to create enhance the shape more. After that side dried, I repeated on the other side. LOVEd how it turned out!!

I blended Design Memory Craft® Metallic Blueberry Gelatos® and water to make a mist. Then I used the Circle stencil from the Stencils 10ct 101 Collection and misted the lower left side. Don't forget to use the misted side of the stencil and press on the opposite corners.

To add color to my textured banner, I made a palette out of waxed paper and colored on different colors of Design Memory Craft® Gelatos®. Blend a little water and finger paint your banners!

Next determine what papers and layers to mat your photo - I used scraps pieces off my desk. Adhere the matted photo and other embellishments (sequins were adhered with Gel Medium), you're done! Hers's a second look.

When I first looked at your page I thought the banners were die cut from corrugated cardboard. What a delight to read you used stencils, whipped crackle, the texture cards and then finger painted with gelatos. Very creative!

Congrats to your son. He looks so happy!

love your banner, thanks for sharing the step by step
