For today's hop project, I decorated an ATC Book Box with various Design Memory Craft products and Graphic 45 embellishments. I have to say the two sets of products work together like peanut butter and jelly! I had SO MUCH FUN. Let me walk you through the steps.
Start by painting the ATC Book Box and the tags with Chalkboard Paint.
Once dry, color the surfaces with Gelatos® colors from the Metallic and Steampunk set. Blend the colors dry with the blending tools from Gelatos Tool set. To add some extra shin, apply a coat of Glaze. Let dry.
Apply Whipped Spackle through stencil on the tags as shown.
When dry, add some more colors with Gelatos® colors and Stamper's Big Brush pen, blending with a wet brush.
Ink up the selected stamps with Stamper's Big Brush pens and stamp randomly around the box and tags.
Next, cut out images from the Inscribe patterned paper and attach to the box and tags with Gel Medium. Also add selected words cut out of old book paper.
Punch a hole on the top of the ATC Book Box and insert the Lion Head Door Knocker. Screw it in place with the provided hardware to create a handle for your box.
Once the tags are thoroughly dry, put them together with the binder ring. Best part is that it can be an ongoing project as you can add more tags as you go!
Hope you enjoyed today's project and be sure to stop by tomorrow for more inspiration.

I was just commenting on another blog about using carbon paper in the old days. I see you have an erase from that era.
Quite a coincidence.
Beautiful album. Love the lions head.
