I started off my box with a little Whipped Spackle and Mixed Media Stencils. The beauty of these stencil is I was able to cut off the edge so I could fit it in the space and still lay it flat.
I used the Pastel set of Gelatos® Colors, Guava, Elderberry and Aqua Dolce to match the colors in these papers. When the Whipped Spackle is dry you can draw right on top with the Gelatos® Colors and spread the color with a wet paint brush. I cut out the girls and layered them with the cards to add that feminine touch on this project!
The inside was painted with a little Gesso then I took the Guava and flicked a little color right into the box! I glued the claws into place - they have little brads but I didn't want to put holes in the box. Added a little pearls and accented some of the areas with clear Texture Gems ™ ( I know it's hard to see, it dries clear and raised.) I hope you are enjoying this hop so far!
