I started off my box with a little Whipped Spackle and Mixed Media Stencils. The beauty of these stencil is I was able to cut off the edge so I could fit it in the space and still lay it flat.

RitaBarakat3G45 I used the Pastel set of Gelatos® Colors, Guava, Elderberry and Aqua Dolce to match the colors in these papers. When the Whipped Spackle is dry you can draw right on top with the Gelatos® Colors and spread the color with a wet paint brush. I cut out the girls and layered them with the cards to add that feminine touch on this project!

RitaBarakat4G45 The inside was painted with a little Gesso then I took the Guava and flicked a little color right into the box! I glued the claws into place - they have little brads but I didn't want to put holes in the box. Added a little pearls and accented some of the areas with clear Texture Gems ™ ( I know it's hard to see, it dries clear and raised.) I hope you are enjoying this hop so far!

Blessings!

What a brilliantly charming creation!!! I love how Rita created that most wonderful texture with her Whipped Spackle and cool stencil design! Then painted with those scrumptious Gelatos and addition of real metal feet, this piece takes on the look of something much more fabulous than that of mere cardboard!!! I mean, WOW!!! The victorian Gilded Lily collection is absolute perfection to coordinate with the box and makes for a stunning little work of art!!! Rita has worked her magic and super-inspiration again!! :D Thanks for never disappointing!!!
