Hi artsy friends! I have a scrapbook page to share with you today. I used Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Crafter's Big Brush Pens, Whipped Spackle and PITT Artist Pen in Black for this page! I'm going to lead you through a fun way to easily customize your Whipped Spackle color for your projects. I also used the Stamper's Big Brush Pens in an unexpected way. Here's the scoop:
I spritzed the areas with a bit of water and used a brush to mix the two. It created a blue-green color puddle. I turned my "cork printed" paper over to the front and patted it in the puddle. I did that a couple times and allowed it to dry. It gave the area a subtle color that is translucent.
Next, I took some Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Textural Accents Whipped Spackle and mixed it with Stamper's Big Brush Cobalt Green on a craft mat with our Gelatos Tool Set Palette Knife on my craft mat.
Much like mixing frosting, I used the palette knife to mix it until consistent. Then scooped up the Whipped Spackle and pushed it through a word stencil to create this page.
You can see it creates a slightly tinted textured area! You can use our new Mixed Media Stencils with dramatic effect! I added some rub ons, stickers, and epoxy shapes to create a page about all the parts of me! The coloration of our mediums creates drama and customizes your project! You can create any color you need by mixing our Stamper's Big Brush pens or Gelatos® colors with the medium in this technique.
