I'm Valérie Ouellet from Quebec and I've been scrapbooking for 6 years now. I'm a stay-at-home mom happy to be taking care of 3 little monsters which are often the main subject of my layouts. While I'm creating, my style is quite lively and colorful and I tend to use watercolor often and medium.
I present you my first creation for Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft as an invited DT. I'm honoured to be part of the team for the next 4 months.
It was the first time that I worked with Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils. I'm used to work with watercolor pellets. I really liked the pencils because the creation of delicat and precise patterns is much easier. They come with rich pigments which give a very bright result.
First, I draw my Mixed Media Stencil with Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils.
Then I add water to create the watercolor effect.
Finally I color a section of my page on my drawing and I add water.
Your background is ready, it is only missing your scraps of paper, photo and embellishments.
I also like to add drops of paint to complete my layout.
