Give Me Wings... A Journal Page

Hello!  It's Guest Designer Lisa Lahiff here with you today, and I am stopping by to share a new journal page that I have created by mixing and matching lot of Faber-Castell Design and Memory Craft goodies.  Let's take a look at the over all project first, and then I'll share step by step instructions/photos on how to replicate this look for yourself!

To begin you will want to grab a page from your journal.  I have used the Faber-Castell Mini Journal Board in this case.  I simply started by brushing on some Chalkboard Paint across the center of my board.

Next I wanted to add some colorful banners, so I grabbed several Gelatos® in Red Cherry, Mango, Lemon, Boysenberry, Snow Cone, and Passion Fruit along with a  Stencil from the 201 Stencil Collection, and rubbed the colors in with my fingers.

Next using another stencil from the 201 Collection I added my Bird with some of the gorgeous Texture Luxe™ in Silver... this product is so creamy and rich in person!

Since I still had some paste on my stencil I didn't want it to go to waste so I scooped some of it off and applied it to the opposite corners of my board.  Then I went over them with the #8 Texture Card.

Once this was dry I added a sentiment that I wanted to go along with my image, so I used various sized PITT® Artist Pens to write it in and to add some doodling on some of the flags.

Finally I went back and added some sparkle with various sequins and some ribbon along the bottom.

We would love to see your journal board projects here in the comments or on Facebook!  As always thank you for stopping by and I can't wait to see what you create!

Happy Crafting!
