I have to admit I don't doodle much but when asked to try my hand at Faber-Castell® Design Memory Craft® PITT® Artist Pens...well, now is a good time as ever! LOL!! I loved how it turned out - what do you think?

Using a 5 x 7" note pad I purchased at a big box store, I covered it with two layers of script designed washi tape. Then applied Gesso and white paint on top. Make sure to dry each coat.

To start my scene, I colored the ground with Design Memory Craft® Gelatos® Double Scoop® in Green Tea, using a little bit of misted water to blend. After drying, I added grass blade details using PITT® Artist Pen in May Green #170.

I doodled flower petals on white cardstock and its yellow center using PITT® Artist Pens in Middle Purple Pink #125 and Orange Glaze #113. Then filled in the area with Design Memory Craft® Gelatos® Double Scoop® in Bubble Gum and Mango. Let dry before fussy cutting all the pieces.

I drew the flower stem with PITT® Artist Pen in May Green #170 and filled in the area with Design Memory Craft® Gelatos® Double Scoop® in Green Tea.

Next I used a combination of Design Memory Craft® Gelatos® Double Scoop® in Blueberry and Snow Cone to create my sky in my background. By misting water, I achieved a wonderful shade of colors as well as subtle dripage.

I assembled my flower by securing the pieces with DODZ™ - Small glue rounds. Then I used Gel Medium to adhere the flower onto the journal cover.

For the flower center, I used 3D Foam Squares to make it dimensional and centered onto the flower.

Lastly I wrote my cover title "Happy Thoughts" with PITT® Artist Pen in Phthalo Blue #110. Here's another look at the finished cover...
