2016 Canvas by Jen Matott

We're a couple months into 2016, and I thought it was appropriate to create a fun home decor piece to display on my mantle.

 I used an old paintbrush that was stiff from using it with acrylic paints and not quite cleaning it well.  So, it became part of the art project!

 I just adore the gritty texture of the newest mediums from Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft!  The Concrete and Asphalt create very different looks!  It has some much texture!

That Texture Luxe in Copper is gorgeous too!  So intense and rich!  It can be applied thickly or watered down and dripped! Even after being sprayed with water, it retains it's shimmer and shine!  Amazing!
