Art Deco Journal Page with Coconut Gelatos

The Gelatos® color of the week is Coconut and I was a little nervous at first, not going to lie! How do I showcase the color white?! But I am so glad I was given this challenge, and I now have such a stronger appreciation not only for the Coconut, but also for how much pigment is packed inside any one of those Gelatos! So let me share with you my art deco art journal spread, featuring Coconut.

To really highlight the Coconut I started with a layer of Design Memory Craft Chalkboard Paint over my entire page. I used the Coconut Gelatos through the Mixed Media Doodle Stencils, mixed Coconut with Gold Texture Luxe™ and the Stencil 102 collection, and also mixed it with Design Memory Craft Glaze (the most surprising result I think! Look how WHITE it is! So much pigment!)

You can watch the entire process in my video here...
